401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Main hand wash station next to the stove was covered with a cutting board again. **This was noted in the last inspection report. This was moved during inspection. Corrective Action(s): **Keep this clear at all times to ensure that everyone can wash their hands when they need to. Continuing to block this hand wash station or making it not usable for workers may result in increased enforcement such as orders or tickets. Do not block this hand wash station. Violation Score: 5

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)] Observation: Toilet in now dry storage room is still on and functional and the space still continues to be used as a dry storage area for food. Food cannot be stored in the same space as a working bathroom. Note: the taps at the sink have been removed so still no working hand wash station is in bathroom. Corrective Action(s): Two options: 1) Move all food out of this space, fix the sink so staff can wash hands at the sink in the bathroom. Or 2) Decommission the toilet or otherwise make it unusable, remove toilet paper and have all staff use the customer washroom. Due: 1 week (March 6, 2023) Violation Score: 9 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Cleaning required from last inspection complete however more mouse droppings observed in shelf to the right of the large double steel door fridge. Corrective Action(s): Do a thorough clean of all the cupboards, removing all mouse droppings, clean and sanitize the areas. Due: Tomorrow.
