Introduction

All areas of the community care facility were inspected for compliance during a routine inspection to assess compliance w/ the:
• Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA)
• Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR)
• relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP)

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #CLAN-BGMPDG have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of FIR #CGEE-BR9SG4 (30/Jun/2020)

No violations were observed today.

Licensees & employees play a key role in protecting children from, & minimizing the impact of infection & illness. FHA discussed hand washing, cleaning, & physical distancing as per the BC Centre for Disease Control & the BC Ministry of Health's "COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for Child Care Settings" (https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/health/about-bc-s-health-care-system/office-of-the-provincial-health-officer/covid-19/covid-19-pho-guidance-childcare.pdf).

The inspection was reviewed w/ the manager; however, this report & the Facility Risk Assessment Tool were written @ the Burnaby Health Protection office on 06/Jul/2020.
