Observation: Insert of chicken strips were at 49.5 to 52.9C. Staff onsite said he just cooked it at 2pm. The hot holding unit appear to be turned off.
Corrective Action(s): Reheat chicken strips to 74C before hot holding at 60C. Alert staff to check that hot holding units are turned on.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Fruit flies noted around dishwashing area and mice droppings noted on the floors in the back around walk-in freezer and staff belongings area.
Corrective Action(s): Increase sanitation as per comment on code 306 and remove droppings. Please provide pest control reports from September to date for review.

Observation: Food debris and build up noted around several areas: hot chocolate machine, frozen slushies machine, cooler for creamers and all flooring.
Corrective Action(s): Please increase cleaning as this level of sanitation is not acceptable.

Observation: Staff washroom faucet makes hammering sound when hot water is turned on. Walk-in freezer lighting is very dim.
Corrective Action(s): Please repair the faucet so hot and cold water can be dispensed properly. Repair/replace lighting in the walk-in freezer.
