Observation: Low level of cockroach activity noted within the premises. Cockroaches were noted on a sticky trap placed in underneath the front hand sink and underneath the back freezer unit. Facility has been on a weekly contract with a pest control company.

Observation: More thorough cleaning is needed within the premises to rectify and prevent the cockroach problem. Grease build-up noted along the grill units. Ensure daily accumulation of food debris is cleaned underneath all equipment such as coolers, freezers, and shelving units.

Routine inspection conducted and the following were noted:
All cooler units at 4C.
Stand-up freezer at -16C.
Hot holding of burger patties were greater than 60C.
Color coded spatulas used to hand raw and cooked meat products.
Quats dispenser at 400ppm.
Hand washing stations satisfactory.
2 compartment available.


Ensure all staff maintain a copy of their valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certification on-site. As a reminder, all FOODSAFE Level 1 certification issued prior to July 31, 2013 had expired on July 31, 2018.
