At today’s inspection there were 18 children and 3 staff present with a support worker in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age) program, and 7 children and 2 staff in the Group Child Care (under 36 month) program.
At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified.
The Licensee is required to address the contravention to bring the facility back into compliance and provide a written response to Licensing by the date below.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided to the facility along with this report.
The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency.
The following was discussed:
- Valid CRC/s are available and reviewed expiry dates.
- Active Play promotion and outdoor play observed
- Hygiene and sanitization practices and communicable disease plan
- Emergency evacuation plan
- Lead in the water – results received
- Care Plan requirements for parent signature regarding consultation and annual review
- Licensing Duty line: #604 587 3936 for emergencies if area Licensing Officer can’t be contacted.
