- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition
- Hot and cold running water supplied to handsinks and warewashing sinks
- Liquid soap and paper towel present at handsinks in food service area and in staff washroom
- Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder)
- Walk-in cooler 1
- Drawer cooler (milk, yogurt) 4C (initially 6C; however, temperature decreased to 4C during inspection)
- Worktop cooler (breakfast items) 4C
- Under line cooler 0C
- McCafe coolers 3C, 4C
- Milk/cream dispensers 3C (front service) 4C (drive thru)
- Product in soft serve machine maintained below 4C.
- Freezers were maintaining product in a frozen state:
- Walk-in freezer -14C
- French fry hopper/dispensing unit -12C
- Burger patty freezer -10C
- Hot holding temperatures of potentially hazardous food were 60C or higher
- Multi-timer in use for time tracking for cut vegetable toppings, bacon, cheese
- Food safety daily checklist viewed and was complete including corrective actions recorded.
- Manual warewashing used. Quats sanitizer in sink for sanitizing measured 200ppm. Test strips present for verifying concentration.
- Quats surface sanitizer present in spray bottles. Concentration of solution in spray bottles measured 200ppm.
- Chlorine solution for wiping cloths in buckets measured 200ppm chlorine. Labels present on buckets to indicate time solution is to be replaced.
- Multi use peroxide disinfectant used to disinfect high touch surfaces.
- No signs of pest infestation noted at the time of the inspection.
- First Assistant Manager present and has completed Foodsafe level 1. Certificate valid until Dec 2022
