Observation: Many flies and fruit flies concentrated around two main areas of the bar.
Left over beer bottles, limes and other food debris noted as main attractants for fruit flies.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all affected areas at the bar before opening at 3PM.
Ensure to use either fly tape and/or fly light to eliminate flies.
Ensure garbage and bottles are removed and there is no left over food debris after end of each opening night.

o Hand wash stations are fully supplied with liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers
o Operators had clean clothing for food preparation
o Staff washrooms appear clean and are fully supplied for hand hygiene
o Public washrooms are clean and fully supplied for hand hygiene

Storage Temperatures
o Cold holding Coolers are below 4C

Maintenance and Sanitation
o Glasswasher - not in operation and not tested at the time of inspection. Please have this available during a follow up inspection.
-Several washers and main dishwashers are available throughout the facility.
o Sanitizer bottles - have 200ppm Quats
o Storage of chemicals is separate and away from food
-Ensure your Cleaning Plan is updated to scheduled staff to clean all areas of the bar after close.

Administration
o Valid operating permit is posted in public view
-Bar was not in full operation at the time of inspection, expected to open within the hour at 3PM.
-Ensure that at minimum, one staff at the bar has their Food Safe Certificate. Keep a copy of this in the Office for verification purposes.
