Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cold potentially hazardous food (PHF) items were stored inside the display cooler and walk in cooler at > 4C.
Corrective Action(s): Remove all the cold PHF items from the display cooler and walk in cooler and store in working cooler at < or = 4C.

301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Single use packaging materials/containers for cakes and other food items were visibly soiled with grease and dirt. Some containers were stored directly on the floor.
Corrective Action(s): Discard these packaging materials that are contaminated. Store all packaging containers at least 6 inches off the floor. Do not open boxes of containers until they are ready to be used. Better storage practice is required in the dry storage area on the second level for storing single use containers to prevent contamination of food contact surfaces (ie. storing containers in boxes, at least 6 inches off the floor, face down, etc).

Observation: 1) The operator has yet to provide an updated Food Safety Plan (FSP) as required by inspection DSOG-ANCQLE.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Submit an updated FSP and SP to the health inspector by August 11th, 2017 to derek.song@fraserhealth.ca.
2) Begin a temperature log and keep records for min three months.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: 1) The back prep sink is leaking. There is pooling of water underneath the sink. The splash board is in poor condition.
2) There is significant gap on the bottom of the gates in the delivery area.
3) Missing light covers in the main kitchen.
4) Leaking faucet at the two compartment sink. The splash board behind the two compartment sink is in poor condition.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Fix the leak. Do not use this sink until the pipes are fully sealed. Replace the splash board.
2) Seal the gap on the bottom of the gates in the delivery area.
3) Install light covers in the main kitchen.
4) Fix the leaky faucet. Install back splash board behind the two compartment sink.
