306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: REPEAT VIOLATION: Fume hoods observed to not be clean and were still covered in grease and grime. Operator explains that maintenance company is delaying service due to staff shortage. Staff on-site began cleaning hood compartments during inspection. Corrective Action(s): Take fume hood compartments out and manually wash and sanitize them to remove grease and grime. Ensure this is done on a more regular basis going forward. Follow-up inspection conducted in regards to cleaning and repair of cooler door seal. Refer to report #ATHI-C99UGB. -Perimeter cleaning has greatly improved. -Handwash station is fully stocked and not blocked, allowing access -Walk-in cooler door seal parts have been ordered and will be installed next week due to delay in shipping. **Invoice to be emailed to health inspector** Follow-up inspection to be conducted on Dec. 13, 2021. No signature required due to COVID-19.
