Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation: All staff wear gloves, some wear 2 pairs at the same time.
Staff on cash changed top pair of gloves often.
2 male food handlers did not change gloves during inspection - tasks included food prep, cleaning, breaks, re-organizing kitchen.
1 food handler left the kitchen and entered the mall and returned shortly after and did not change his gloves or wash his hands.
Correction: Ensure all staff wash hands regularly - a the start of the shift, before and after breaks and end of day at a minimum. Gloves do not replace proper hand washing and replacing gloves is not acceptable.
Gloves are single use disposable and must be discarded after each task.
Review proper hand washing and glove use with staff.

Follow-up to inspection #ZDER-BZVLSL, all violation noted have been corrected.
- Dim sum steam hot holding table noted 67 C
- Hot holding display unit noted at 63 C
- Toaster oven in use during inspection - reviewed re-heating and hot holding practices in regards to this unit
- Sanitizer available in labeled spray bottle by POS and in bucket with wiping cloths by the food prep area
- Food handlers were not wearing gloves and washing hands during inspection. Staff on cash wore 2 pairs of disposable gloves
- No double stacking in prep cooler, food covered in coolers
- Enhanced cleaning noted - carts were clean, hard to reach areas better maintained
