Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #JBES-B76QC8 have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated December 10, 2019 there was 1 children and 1 staff present.
Many ill children today, therefore the numbers were low for attendance.
Prior to today's inspection a file review was conducted, and it was noted that several family members who have expired Criminal Record Checks, please ensure all residents, over the age of 12, of the home have valid criminal record checks at all times. Upon return to the Licensing office, the link for completing CRC's online will be provided.

No coded violations were noted during today's inspection; no written response is requested at this time.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
· Promoting Active Play in the program
· Temporary Placements
· Lead in the Water
