502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: No staff on site during follow up inspection had proof of FoodSafe Certification with them. They did indicate that they were both (front line staff member and chef) FoodSafe certified but just did not have any card/certificate on site.
Corrective Action(s): As stated on the last inspection report, at least one kitchen staff on site must have FoodSafe at all times during restaurant operation and must have proof/certificate available to verify. At least one of them must have FoodSafe, as required by BC's Food Premises Regulation.
