Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bucket of sanitizer for in-use wiping cloths was absent in the sushi bar.
Corrective Action(s): In-use wiping cloths must be stored in a bucket of sanitizer. Instructed staff to prepare a bucket of bleach and water (1 teaspoon per 4 litres of water).

Follow up inspection

Outstanding issues:
Faucet handle in men's washroom has not been repaired or replaced, however a replacement faucet has been purchased.
Soap dispenser for the kitchen hand sink has not been repaired or replaced.
Lighting in the sushi bar area is still inadequate - each light fixture has only 1 out of four lights working. All of the lights need to be in working order.

Spoke to the owner on the phone and he said the faucet will be replaced by a plumber over the weekend, and the outstanding matters will be corrected by Tuesday, November 6, 2018


Other observations:
Food handler hygiene appeared satisfactory.
Light cover provided for kitchen light fixture.
Bucket with chlorine sanitizer provided for wiping cloths in the kitchen.
Newspaper on food contact surfaces have been removed.
