Meat slicer appears to be cleaned at time of inspection today. Manager onsite informed that the unit gets used to cut cheese and deli meats in the morning (~8am) and should be cleaned after use. The unit is not reused on the same day and sometimes the slicer can be left for staffs in afternoon shift to clean. Also recommended adding a bag and/or sign to indicate whether cleaning has been done. Assign staffs to clean the meat slicer as part of their shift task and add the meat slicer as part of the daily cleaning tasks.
Some of the ice machine parts have been cleaned but mildew still present.
->please email me a photo when you have completed with the cleaning.
Quats sanitizer available for espresso machine steaming wands. Also observed staff sanitize the knives after cutting sandwiches with sanitizer before returning to the magnetic strip for storage.
->Recommend adding timer to remind staff when to change sanitizing solution and use test strips to verify if solution needs to be changed earlier/later.
Cleaning in the corner of the pipes have been mostly done, with fly traps removed and only snap traps left.
->The rim on the pipe appears to have build up and could use some cleaning as well since there were a few more fruit flies in this area.
Floor of dishwashing area and walk-in cooler/walk-in freezer has improved but these areas need to be more routinely cleaned.
***There needs to be more accountability of whether tasks were done properly on a daily basis by all staffs and managers.

Pending issues:
1) Dust on ceiling and various high walls.
2) Handsoap in the washroom still needs to be secured.
