Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice machine had mildew buildup inside. It is currently only cleaned every 3 months.
Corrective Action(s): Cleaned during the inspection. Ensure that the ice machine is cleaned at least monthly.

Observation: Cleaning required to remove food debris/ syrup buildup on the floor and hard to reach areas, as well as dust buildup on the wall.

Comments

-Operator to add the sale of whole fruit and vegetables. Ensure that an updated Food Safety Plan is sent to Fraser Health and that a floor plan showing the storage area that will be used is sent over as well.

Hand sinks were supplied with hot and cold water, soap and paper towels.
All coolers were < 4 C, with the exception of the front display cooler (used for whole fruit only).
All freezers were < -18 C.
Quats sanitizer was at 200 ppm.
Bleach is used at the 3-compartment sink, plugs were available.
No evidence of pests.
