Routine inspection conducted and the following were noted at the time of inspection:
Walk-in freezer at -11C
Chest freezer at -18C
White stand up cooler at 3C.
Silver stand up cooler was at 14C. Temperature check this morning indicated that the cooler unit was at 3C. It was noted that the cooler unit was turned off. Temperature within the cooler unit decreased back to 4C during the time of inspection. Ensure that staff do not accidentally turn off the unit as the power switch is located above the door.
Internal temperature of hot foods were at least 60C.
Hand washing station satsifactory.
Quatz solution placed in food preparation area and concentration was at 200ppm
Final rinse temperature at plate level for high temperature dishwasher was at 73C.
Temperature log for cooler units, freezers units, and dishwasher are maintained daily.
No pest noted. Facility has a monthly contract with a pest company and no pest activity was indicated on the Sept 2017 report.
