Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): All 3 sanitizer pails had less than 50 ppm chlorine during the time of inspection; Sanitizer pails had 2 hour time strips and were made within 10 minutes at the time of inspection. Operator reported that sanitizer pails are made with chlorine pills
Corrective Action(s): All three sanitizer pails were discarded and fresh solution were made according to the manufacturers instructions on the chlorine pill packaging. Always test final solution with chlorine test strips to ensure chlorine concentration is at 100ppm. All three sanitizer pails tested to be at 100ppm after new solutions were made during the time of the inspection. Sanitizer pails must be exchanged every 2 to 4 hours and must be at 100ppm chlorine for proper sanitizing of food contact surfaces
