| Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on July 29, 2019 alleging concerns regarding care and supervision. The allegations included the following details: - Inappropriate guidance methods were used - Children were told inappropriate things that were upsetting to them All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews, child in care records, facility policies and procedures, and video evidence. The following contraventions were determined: - CCLR Section 51(1)(a) - Behavioral Guidance - CCLR Section 56(1)(f) - Community Care Facility Records and Policies - CCLR Section 55(2)(a) - Notification of Illness or Injury The Licensee submitted a corrective action plan which addresses all contraventions. No further action by Licensing is necessary as all contraventions have been addressed. |
