Observation: Lighting intensity observed to be inadequate throughout the premises. There must be at least 540Lux of lighting intensity at food preparation surfaces.
Emergency door release mechanism that should be on the inside door to the walk in cooler observed on a shelf inside the walk in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Manager stated premises will be undergoing a cosmetic reno in a few weeks. Ensure all deficiencies in lighting are addressed as we will be testing the lighting intensity with a light meter after the renos.
Repair the emergency door release mechanism.
