Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One spray bottle of bleach sanitizer solution was too strong and bleached out the test strip.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to mix only 1/2 tsp of bleach per litre of water for proper concentrations. Sanitizer that is too strong may potentially chemically contaminate food.
Staff diluted the solution at time of inspection. 200 ppm chlorine residual detected.

Observation: Gap observed under back screen door. Door sweep/weather stripping has broken off on one end.
Corrective Action(s): Replace the stripping such that no gap is present under the screen door. If back door is left open at any time, the screen door must be in good condition.
Correct by: Immediately.

Observation: No staff onsite at time of inspection had completed the FoodSafe level 1 course (or equivalent).
Corrective Action(s): At least one employee onsite must have a valid FoodSafe level 1 certificate at all times.
Ensure full-time staff register for the course.

Comments

- All hand washing sinks were properly supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- A second spray bottle of bleach sanitizer was tested to have 100 ppm chlorine residual.
- Three-compartment sink for manual warewashing maintained in sanitary conditions. Sink drain plugs functional.
- All coolers were measured at 4C or colder (pizza prep cooler, stand-up glass door cooler, walk-in cooler shared with store
- Freezer temperatures were satisfactory
- No hot-held pizza at time of inspection
- Food storage practices satisfactory
- Equipment maintained in sanitary conditions
- General sanitation satisfactory at time of inspection
- No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection
- Laundry/storage room at back of store is no longer being used for proofing pizza dough - good.
