Corrective Action(s): Ensure all areas of premises are cleaned regularly including hard to reach areas and shelving/spaces not regularly cleaned.
Decreasing clutter where possible will allow for easier cleaning

Observation: Lower shelves around dish pit sinks - water damage wood, damaged plastic coating
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all shelves and surfaces are smooth, durable, easy to clean and non absorbent. Repair / replace / seal wooden shelving/ replace plastic cover/coating of shelving to meet the standards.

Observation: 1.Broiler on moveable low prep table has a 11 inch gap to a standing freezer unit. Difficult to access back for prep station and dangerous (burning risk) to workers.

2. High light fixtures not functional, very dark : 2 in back prep area & 1 in back cleaning hall
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure back food prep area is re-organized to allow for equipment and space for staff to access all areas of the kitchen.
Owner shared the future plan to re-organize the back prep area and add this renovation with an update to the front of house renovation due by September 2021.
Provide updated floor plans for all proposed changes to Fraser Health for review and approval.

2. Ensure food premises is well lit so it can be properly utilized, cleaned and monitored for pests. Replace all burned out bulbs and or fixtures.
