At the inspection dated Jan. 23, 2024 there were 8 children and 2 staff present. The licensee contact also arrived on-site during the inspection and assisted Licensing. This report was reviewed with the facility during the inspection.
Licensing completed the inspection with a practicum student.
During the inspection, the following items were observed to be addressed by the facility:
- The paint is no longer peeling off the corners of the wall (small portions) at these locations: the wall near the classroom/playroom, the wall at the small hallway just before entering the bathroom, the wall in the nap room. Furthermore, the drywall is no longer exposed.
- The short wall made of rocks surrounding part of the outdoor play area has been covered with a plastic fence material.
- The staff CRC now appears to be on file and obtained from the Criminal Records Review Board under the name of the childcare facility
Licensing observed today that the attendance sheet indicated all of the children's time of arrival.
The following was discussed today:
- fire drill log year which was fixed on-site promptly
