Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated April 20, 2023 there were 54 children and 7 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. This inspection and the risk assessment were written on site and reviewed with the Manager, a copy was emailed to the facility. The following education/recommendations were provided: - Families may document a walk in clinic if a family doctor is not available. - Medication storage. - There is a system in place for checking emergency food supplies.
