Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Washroom handwash station did not have single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure handwash stations are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and a single use method of hand drying. Single use paper towels were placed in the washroom at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Two bottles of liquid soap were stored on top of containers of frying fat.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure chemicals are stored separately from foods to prevent potential contamination of foods. Soap was relocated at the time of inspection.

Observation: Exhaust canopy vent covers were found to be dusty and oily.
Corrective Action(s): Vent covers must be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent potential pest attraction and a potential fire hazard.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 2C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -18C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Front sweets cooler was at 4C.
-Cooked sauces were properly cooled and were at 4C.
-Upright freezer was at -16C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Bleach sanitizer tested at 100ppm.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pail tested at 100ppm. Container was properly labelled.
-Raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-Scoops stored in a sanitary manner.
-No foods stored on the floor, under the trolley at the time of inspection.
-Significant improvement in fly issues. During the warmer months, facility must maintain good sanitation to prevent a reoccurrence of flies.
-Operator FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until Feb 16, 2024.
