Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)] (Staff member observed handling food (baked potato) with gloves, relocating a garbage can, followed by handing food again without changing glove.)
Comments

-Follow-up inspection to July 21, 2016.
-Sweets cooler has been serviced. Thermostat has been adjusted. Cooler unit was at 4C.
-Operator has reviewed with staff proper handwashing practices and glove use procedures.
-Hallmark poultry containers are no longer being used for the storage of foods.
-Cooler unit has been reorganized and raw foods were properly stored below ready-to-eat foods at the time of inspection.
.Did not observe foods stored in opened cans at the time of inspection - foods were stored in food grade containers.
-General cleaning has been carried out in the facility - ensure facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.
-Bleach sanitizer pail has been labelled - once label falls off, ensure container is relabelled.
-Cardboard has been removed from the shelving units. Only materials which are smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable are to be used in the kitchen.
*Prep cooler door seals are on order.
*Ensure foods are not double stacked without a cover between the items are scoops are not stored inside dry ingredient containers.
