Observation: Observed a hole in the wall of closet used for storing mop buckets.

Comments

General Comments:
- Observed empty sanitizer container for glasswasher. However, chlorine residual tested at 100ppm. Operator replaced the sanitizer at the time of inspection. Ensure to have adequate supply of sanitizer in the dishwasher when it is in use. Monitor and change before it becomes empty.
- Handwashing sinks equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- All coolers maintaining foods at 4C or colder
- Freezers maintaining foods at -18C or colder
- Soups in hot holding unit maintained at 60C or hotter
- Foods are stored 6" above the floor
- Good thawing practice observed. Bagged seafood put in a cold running water bath
- Low temperature dishwasher measured at 52C wash water and has 50ppm chlorine residual at the plate
- QUATs sanitizer in the buckets ranging from 200-400ppm as per manufacturer's guide.
- No signs of pest infestation at the time of inspection
- Ice machine is maintained in a good condition
- General sanitation of the facility is good
- Temperature logs are kept through an app called "Jolt"
- Scoops are being stored on ice. Good

Covid-19 Prevention Measures:
- Covid-19 Safety Plan available on-site
- Update signs and symptoms as per the most recent signs and symptoms found in WorkSafe BC website for staff daily health screening
- Currently only outdoor dining as per provincial health order
- Employees wore masks at the time of inspection
- High touch surfaces being disinfected routinely with a peroxide multi surface disinfectant
