209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation:
Found raw proteins stored above and beside RTE foods in the walk-in-freezer. If the freezer breaks and foods thaw, juices from the raw proteins may drip onto RTE foods, which will require to be thrown away.
Corrective Action(s):
Rearrange the walk-in-freezer so that all raw proteins are stored together, separate and/or beneath RTE foods.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation:
1) The interior wall of the ice making machine has mildew on it. The mildew can fall or touch the ice contaminating it.
2) There is accumulated flour on the floor beneath the dry food containers. The food will attract pests. This was mentioned in the previous routine inspection and appears to be a repeated violation.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Empty to ice machine and wash the interior walls and machinery with hot water, soap and bleach to remove the mildew. Increase the frequency at which this is being done.

Observation:
There are floor tiles in the kitchen that have lifted off the floor, and there is grout missing between tiles in various areas of the kitchen. The floor tiles are NO longer level, sealed, and cleanable. This was mentioned in the last routine inspection, and was require to be completed in Feb. 2019.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair or replace all cracked, chipped, damaged, unstuck, and/or unsealed tiles so that the floor is smooth, durable, sealed and cleanable. Fill all openings between tiles with grout and seal the grout.
