Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Refrigeration units, in the main kitchen and stock room, were at 4 degrees C or less.
Freezer temperatures were satisfactory in the main kitchen and stock room.
Shell eggs were observed stored on the lowest shelving unit below ready-to-eat food in the refrigeration unit.
Hot-held food was at least 60 degrees C.
Temperature log was being maintained for cooking, hot-holding, refrigeration, and freezer temperatures.
200 ppm Quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATS) sanitizer was available in both sanitizer pails.
No ware-washing was occurring at the time of inspection. Three sink plugs were available at the 3-compartment sink.
Onion ring preparation was occurring in the 3-compartment sink at the time of inspection.
Pest control program was in place on a weekly basis by Terminix Canada. Most recent pest control report, dated June 28, 2023, indicated no activity.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Dry goods were pre-packaged and stored off the floor in the stock room.
Manager on shift held valid FOODSAFE Level 1 course training (expiration date: August 22, 2025).
