Premises has been closed for two weeks for renovations.
No change in layout - changed ceiling tiles, fixed missing baseboard tiles, new equipment, installed back splash and updated the whole look of restaurant.
Hand sinks have liquid soap and paper towels installed
Walk-in cooler was at 1-2 deg C.
Walk-in freezer was at -23 deg C.
Line freezer was at -18 deg C.
New upright freezer was at -21 deg C.
No hot holding at time of inspection but equipment was at 60 deg C
Dishwasher final sanitizing rinse reached 74.6 deg C. at plate surface.
Quats sanitizer measured 200 ppm.
Temperature log was available (no temp taken during time of renovations).
Front service area: Hand sink equipped with liquid soap and paper towels.
New mug froster installed and temp. was at -20 deg C.
Under counter cooler was at 2-3 deg C.
New deep fryers were being installed at time of inspection (upgraded to 3 fryers).
New cabinetry and counter tops have been installed.
Dining area has been fully renovated - new furniture, ceiling tiles, lighting, etc.
Washrooms have been done as well. New toilet paper dispenser, hand blower, hand soap dispenser, etc.
Exterior of the building is newly painted and new siding are installed.
Garbage disposal enclosure was also included in the renovations.
Overall premises was in satisfactory condition.
Note: Ensure to clean and sanitize all food prep areas and equipment and all construction equipment and tools must be removed inside the restaurant prior to opening to the public.
