Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # MBEK-AZ9TWS of May-30-2018 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] (Mildew/biofilm was observed on the interior surfaces of the ice machine. Plastic jug used to scoop ice was stored inside of the ice machine--handle was in contact with ice. )

Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-AZ9TWS. Ice machine interior was observed to be in sanitary condition. It was stated by management that the ice machine is cleaned and sanitized every two months. A designated area outside of the ice machine is available for the plastic jug.
