Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The air temperature of the upright 2 door Habco cooler is 8.9C and food temperature is also about 8C.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately remove all potentially hazardous foods (10 4L containers of unopened, pasteurized milk) to the alternate cooler at the back so that they will be stored so the food temperature is at 4 C or colder. Move any personal food items from the back cooler so there is room for the milk. Do not store potentially hazardous food in the Habco cooler unless it can keep them at 4 C or colder - pop and bottled water only.

Observation: New ice cream/gelato equipment on-site.
Corrective Action(s): Provide written instructions (sanitation plans) to show how you are cleaning and sanitizing this equipment. Check as well with manufacturer for instructions. Do not use this equipment until you have written cleaning procedures and have submitted them to Fraser Health for review.

Complete above items as soon as possible. Use machine to make gelato on-site only once sanitation plans have been submitted and reviewed.
Scooped gelato and ice cream and hot beverages ONLY. No cooking or hot food items.
Any proposed renovations require Health approval of the floor plans.
City approval is required if you remove a washroom. Check with City and any other agencies that have jurisdiction (liquor licensing if applicable).
Liquid soap and paper towels are provided at the kitchen hand sink (must be accessible) and the washroom hand sink.
The dishwasher is not being used. A triple compartment sink is available to wash, rinse, sanitize utensils. Single service cups and cutlery only for customers.
Quats sanitizer to be used as per dilution and contact time instructions on the label (200ppm for 1 minute).
If using household chlorine bleach use 1 tsp per litre water (100-200ppm chlorine).
Ice cream scoops to be sanitized every 4 hours during the day and to be stored in running water while in use.
