Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #JBES-AW5ULH have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19080 - CCLR s.57(2)(b) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility.
Observation: Audit of random sampling of children's registration files, revealed one file missing start/enrolment date
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure all legislatively required documentation is obtained and maintained at all times

Comments

At the inspection dated March 11, 2019 there were 30 children and 6 staff present.

One coded violation was noted during today's inspection; however no written response is requested at this time.

The intermediate group was outside on the playground during today's inspection, however the classroom they were utilizing was inspected today.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

Lead in the Water
