Observation: Cloth towels were observed lining pizza toppings (ham). Food in metal containers (tomatoes and pineapples) and a bag of onions was observed in the staff washroom.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure food is covered by food grade materials (a plastic food grade lid and/or saran wrap) rather than cloth towels. The cloth towels were removed from the food. Please re-organize food storage areas to ensure that food is moved out of the washroom; Correct by this weekend.

Observation: Cardboard boxes were observed lining a trolley in the walk-in-cooler and pizza trays were stored in a cardboard box.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure cardboard boxes are not used for lining surfaces as they are not a washable and durable surface. Instead, use easy to clean liners and storage bins. Correct today.
