Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: - Dishwasher not operational/not in use. Staff unclear on manual dishwashing method. Two compartment sink present with 1 compartment filled with soap and water and the second compartment empty. Sanitizing step not being completed.
Correction: - Closure Order issued. Refer to closure order for required corrective actions.

Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)]
Observation: - Premises does not have hot water at time of the inspection. Water from hot water tap at dishwashing sink and front handwashing sink measured 15C.
Correction: - Repair or replace hot water tank/supply so that it is capable of supplying hot water at sufficient temperature and capacity to meet the hot water needs for sanitary maintenance of the food service establishment. Closure order issued. Refer to closure order for required actions.
Comments

Follow up inspection conducted to verify corrective actions taken as outlined in routine inspection report and Closure Order issued 19-Jan-2023:

- Previous 30G hot water tank replaced with 50G hot water tank. Service report/invoice provided by Operator confirming replacement. Hot water at tap measured 55C.
- New high temperature dishwasher installed. Dishwasher operational and met temperature required to sanitize dishes. 71C at dish surface.
- Walls in kitchen have been cleaned and re-painted
- Floor under equipment has been cleaned
- Missing ceiling tiles have been replaced

Required actions which were outlined in the Order have been completed and verified by inspection. Operator may re-open/resume operation of food service establishment.
