At the inspection dated July 07, 2023 there were 67 children, 17 staff, 1 support worker and the Manager present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed. This inspection and the risk assessment were written on site and reviewed with the Manager, copies were provided to the facility.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
- A system is in place for checking references.
- Updating children's files, allergies and care plans.
- Parents may list a walk-in clinic if a family doctor is not available.
- Monitoring carpets and rugs for curling and tripping hazards.
