Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to observe the Group Child Care (school age) program which was not in operation at the time of the routine inspection on June 6, 2023. Licensing will assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). No other areas of the facility were observed today. The Manager had responded and addressed the previous contravention cited at the routine inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection The Group Child Care (School age) program is currently operating as a full day due to school Summer closure. On arrival, the group were out at the park. Licensing observed the group space and reviewed child records and other documentation. The following resources were provided previously by email: - Sun Safety Bulletin package Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR). This report was reviewed with a supervisory staff and a copy provided. Thank you for your time today.
