Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). Written response was received from the Licensee indicating all identified violations on the Routine inspection had been addressed.
Evidence for this report was based on the Licensing Officer’s observations, review of the facility records and information provided by the Licensee at the time of inspection. Also, written response was received from the Licensee indicating all identified violations on the Routine inspection had been addressed.

At the time of this inspection all previously identified violations were now found to be in compliance. The following was observed:
--There were 7 children in care; attendance record indicates compliance is being maintained with capacity. Licensee will ensure attendance record includes time of arrival and departure for children going to school.
--Diaper procedure now appears appropriate as it was observed being done now near the washroom.
--Children were observed having a snack followed by going outside.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR # have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

The Live 5-2-1-0 Kit was provided to the Licensee and information about the program was also discussed at the previous inspection.
