Code 312 noted on Routine inspection # PKUR-CGSR7Q of Jul-29-2022 Semi critical single use items are not discarded after use Observation: CS20 in the facial/waxing room appeared old (deep yellow in color) and murky. Correction: Change CS20 at the required frequency (14 day re-use or when murky). Solution should be dated. Implements and other equipment used for facials should be put away when clean - do not use sink to store clean implements as this obstructs the handwashing sink.

Follow-up inspection to report PKUR-CGSR7Q. Nails: drill bits are discarded after each use. Hair: barbicide solution is full in all in-use containers. Facials/waxing room: new solution of CS20 available. Ensure it is dated for 14 days. Laser hair removal services: -Hand sink in treatment room. -Goggles must be disinfected with CS20. -Goggles provided by IPL machine supplier. -IPL machine (Rapid DPC) on Health Canada's MDALL. -Operators have laser safety training. Certificates on-site. -Door has laser warning sign. **Infection Control Plan required. Please submit to the Environmental Health Officer. **Follow-up regarding open ceiling and windows required. **Approval pending.
