304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Some fruit flies observed in the kitchen near the 3-compartment sink. Operator mentioned that they had observed the flies in the past and have one sticky trap in place in the staff washroom near the soft drink disposal can..
Corrective Action(s): Contact pest management company to place traps around the premises or install more sticky traps around the kitchen (near the 3-compartment sink). Refrain from using chemical sprays in the kitchen to prevent chemical hazards. To prevent attraction/harbourage/breeding of fruit flies, ensure soft drink cans are disposed of daily.
