Observation:
The deep fryer still has the white, protective plastic cover on the outter surfaces. The plastic is not cleanable and has accumulated grease on it.
Corrective Action(s):
Peel off the white, protective plastic so the stainless steel sides are explosed which are cleanable.

Observation:
1) The walls in the back prep area has peeling paint, and exposed drywall from dents in walls and door frames. These areas are not sealed, hard to clean, and paint chips may fall into foods.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Repair and paint all damaged walls and door frames so they are smooth, level, sealed and cleanable.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C; freezer -21C; hot holding units above 60C; and thermometers present.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- Foods stored in food grade containers; covered; stored in groups with raw chicken separate from RTE foods; and 6" off the floor on shelves or platforms.
- General sanitation level is goods. Exhaust canopy was professionally cleaned this year.
- No signs of pests.
- FoodSafe certified staff present. Certificates will expire in July 2018, an online refresher course is required to be taken. Go to www.foodsafe.ca to register for the refresher course.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- Halal beef cone, lamb cone, and chicken donair offered. Chicken marinated for 12-24 hours and then placed on skewer each day. Flat grill used as secondary cook step.
