A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezer was -16C; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Hand sink stocked running hot and cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
- Bleach present for sanitizing of dishes and in spray bottles. Bleach was between 100ppm-200ppm.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- General sanitation satisfactory. Detailed cleaning of hard to reach areas needs to be done. These areas are floors under sinks, shelves, equipment and tables; and behind equipment. To encourage and make cleaning easier, install more shelves so items are stored off the floor and move the lowest shelves up higher so they are at least 6" off the floor (so a broom/mop can get under it to clean).
- No signs of pests.
- Foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; and date coded.
- Food handling practices done correctly. Utensils used to handle food, and hand washed at appropriate frequency.
- All in order.
