Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observation: Handsink at front service area lacking supply of paper towel and handsink at back not supplied with liquid soap.
Health rationale: Without paper towel and soap at handsinks, food handlers are not able to adequately wash their hands and foods are at risk of becoming contaminated.
Corrective action: Soap was supplied at back hand sink and paper towel was supplied at front hand sink (service area). Ensure all handsinks are equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold water at all times.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observation: Multiple dry storage scoops placed directly inside containers and in direct contact with food.
Health rationale: Scoops are potentially contaminated and can potentially contaminate food and cause foodborne illness.
Corrective action: All scoops were removed from containers during time of inspection. Ensure all dry storage scoops are kept outside the container to reduce risk of contamination.

Observation: Observation: Grease build-up observed on ventilation hoods.
Health rationale: Grease build-up can attract potential pests and is also a fire hazard.
Corrective action: Deep clean all ventilation hoods. Ensure these ventilation hoods are deep cleaned at least every 2 weeks to prevent build up of grease.

Observed during inspection:
1) Temperature:
-Walk-in cooler at 4C
-Chest freezer #1 at -18C
-Chest freezer #2 at -18C
Domestic freezer at -18C
-Sandwich cooler at 3C (top) and 4C (bottom).
-Display cooler #1 at 3C
-Display cooler #2 at 4C

Note: One display cooler is turned off and storing non-potentially hazardous foods (baked).

-Temperature logs are maintained (Good!).
-Thermometers available in all cooling units.

2) Sanitation:
-High-temperature dishwasher reached 74.0C at plate surface (final rinse temperature).
-QUATS sanitizer bottles (x4) at 200ppm QUATS concentration.
-Handsink in staff washroom adequately supplied with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
-No pest activity during time of inspection.

3) Storage:
-All food is covered and stored at least 6 inches off the ground.
-Pest-proof dry storage containers used.

4) Admin:
-Foodsafe Level 1 trained operator on premises during time of inspection (expires Sept 20, 2025).
-Operating permit visible during time of inspection.
