Observation: Meat slicer had been used for slicing vegetables and had not been cleaned after use. Food debris has dried onto surface.

Observation: Paper towel dispensing units throughout have paper towels inside but are not working properly. Paper towels can not be accessed from each unit and therefore staff have placed additional paper towels throughout kitchen (3 extra rolls) and washroom (one extra roll).

Observation: Some cleaning required in the following places:
- Floor, Specifically under grill and equipment in hard to reach areas: Ensure staff are cleaning floor thoroughly each night as pests have been an issue in the past
- Exhaust canopy grill: ensure the canopy vents are cleaned twice weekly at a minimum
- Rodent droppings found next to chest freezer in storage room: Spray rodent droppings with 200ppm chlorine solution or equivalent. Remove droppings from area. Wet affected area with 200ppm chlorine or equivalent and soak area.
Inspect facility for points of entry for pests. Seal any holes.

Observation: Shelves over two compartment sink in preparation area are encrusted with food debris as are surrounding walls: Scrub walls/backsplash and shelves. Paint entire area with fresh coat of paint.
Floors require repair both under grill area and in front two door stand up freezer: Clean floors thoroughly. Ensure all grease is removed prior to any repairs. Repair floor. Either new tiles or concrete fill.

NOTE: Health Inspector to return March 18 to ensure all items requiring correction have been completed. Ensure that all paper towel dispensing units are working properly and that corner area has been cleaned and painted. Ensure that floor repairs have been finished.
