305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation: Back door entrance kept open. Gap located on the exterior base of front service counter where counter wall meets baseboard. Corrective Action(s): Keep back door closed unless receiving deliveries. Seal front service counter gap to exclude pest entry. Violation Score: 9 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Mouse droppings observed in the following locations: front service area - shelving below left point of sale, under both pop dispenser stations, on pop syrup storage boxes, below corner juice dispenser, on floor below pop syrup / under juice dispenser and on floor behind file cabinet of office station. Food debris on floor in corners behind upright cooler / freezer and gas cylinders. Corrective Action(s): All areas described are to be thoroughly cleaned to remove all build-up of food and debris from surfaces. Areas affected by pest activity must be sanitized with dilute bleach solution (100 ppm chlorine 1 tsp bleach / 1 liter water) after cleaning. Violation Score: 15
