Introduction

An unscheduled/scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing of Practice (DLSP). All categories of care were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated October 24, 2023 there were 1 children, one parent and 1 staff present. At the time of the inspection majority of the children have been dismissed from class and one child was awaiting pick-up. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following education/recommendations were provided: - regarding validation of new ECE certificates - annually reviewing the care plans for children who require a care plan Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
