Comments

Due to COVID 19, operator is only offering the following services:

-Waxing: Laser hair removal, facial.

Waxing:
-Client is given with their own wax pot.
-Wooden spatulas and strips are single use.
-Treatment bed paper towel is single use.
-Utility sink is available for liquid soap and single use towels.

Laser hair removal using an IPL laser:
-70% Isopropyl alcohol used to disinfect laser hand piece.
-Laser machine equipped with emergency shut off bottom and required key to operate.
-Laser warning sign posted at the entrance.
-Client goggles are opaque, disinfected with CS20 solution, see above violation.
-No mirror in the treatment room.
-Razor for skin preparation is single use, discarded into sharp container after use.

Facial:
-Services using comedone extractor is not provided, service is limited to facial machine.
-Non-critical pieces for skin treatment are disinfected with 70% Isopropyl alcohol.

General sanitation:
-Laundry services provided on-site, separated with personal clothing.
-Hand sinks are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
-Operator had COVID 19 safety pre-cautions in placed, however, according to Provincial Health Officer's order, a written plan needs to be developed. COVID19 safety plan supporting documents are given to the operator.
