Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Egg tarts stored in front display at ambient temperature. Internal temperature measured 18 degrees C.
Corrective Action(s): One small tray of egg tarts discarded by staff at time of inspection. Egg tarts are to be stored either in hot holding case at 60 degrees C or more OR in display cooler at 4 degrees C or less. This is a potentially hazardous food as it is able to support the growth of pathogens and/or allow for the production of toxins.
