HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: High (≥30) Total Score = 36
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
201 - Food contaminated or unfit for human consumption [s. 13]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bulging can of food observed among storage of canned food. Can was labeled "Jackfruit, Cock Brand" and "EXP: 2019/01/28." In addition, several cans were observed with heavily rusted exteriors (also beyond the best before date).
Corrective Action(s): Above-noted items were discarded in the dumpster by the operator, in the presence of the EHO.
Ensure all canned food is in good condition, including ensuring cans are free from any bulging or significant dents--e.g. large dents / dents along the seal. Bulging cans may indicate microbial growth, which may potentially include the growth of pathogens.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw meat observed to be stored over fruits/vegetables.
One open can of food was stored in the fridge.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure raw animal products are not stored above foods that are ready-to-eat (e.g. fruits and vegetables) as raw juices may potentially leak onto them.
Canned food discarded. Ensure contents of cans are transferred to an appropriate food grade container with a cover if they are to be stored. Do not store in the original can as it may potentially rust over time (once opened).
Violation Score: 3

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Few boxes of food were observed with what appeared to be rodent chew marks.
What appeared to be a few rodent droppings were observed near the hot water tank.
