Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Savoury pastries were stored at room temperature without time tracking. Staff stated the printing machine was not working.
Corrective Action(s): As per the Tim Hortons food safety plan, savoury pastries can be stored between 4C to 60C if a method of time tracking is being used. If the printing machine is not working in the future, staff should manually write time tracking stickers. Pastries were discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -14C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Counter top cooler was at 4C.
-Dairy dispenser was at 4C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Foods are cooked to greater than 74C prior to hot holding.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily - records available for review.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse temperature of 72C on the dish surface on consecutive cycles (minimum of 71C required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pails were labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Quats sanitizer dispenser was at 200ppm.
-Steaming wand sanitized with 200ppm Quats after each use.
-Mixing spoons stored in ice.
-Ice Capp wand sanitized with 200ppm Quats.
-Ice machine was clean and sanitary.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent valid until June 08, 2026.
