Observation:
The walls and corners in the food manufacturing and packaging areas are damaged. The paint and/or drywall is chipped, and there are holes and scrapes in walls. These damaged areas are not cleanable and will attract pests.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair and seal/paint all damaged walls and corners. The walls and corners must be made of a durable material, smooth, level, sealed, and cleanable.

Observation:
There is a lot of unused or old quipment being stored on the premises. The premises is cluttered and this creates an environment that will harbor pests, and it makes it more difficult to clean the premises.
Corrective Action(s):
Remove all unused (not used in the last 3 years), broken, or extra equipment from the premises.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- A foods, wrappers and packaging were stored 6" off the floor on pallets or shelves.
- General sanitation level is satisfactory. Improvement needed in hard to reach areas (under pallets and floor mats), and increase the frequency at which detailed cleaning is occurring (removing boxes of shelves and cleaning the shelves, etc.).
- No signs of pests. A professional pests company monitors the premises on a monthly contract.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Manual dishwashing being done. Soap and bleach present for washing and sanitizing.
- No expired foods in use. FIFO rules being followed.
